Overview

Continental Electronics Corporation ("CEC"), a subsidiary of OSI Systems, Inc ("OSI") seeks an accomplished professional to serve in the position of Senior Manager of FP&A, for its rapidly growing high technology manufacturing company based in Dallas, Texas with a heavy emphasis on government contracting.

In this high-profile role, you will be a key member of the Finance team responsible for all aspects of the CEC budgeting, forecasting and operational reporting with a heavy emphasis on financial analysis. You will interact directly with the Sales, Product Management, Service, Operations and Engineering department leaders while also serving as a key resource to the CEC Management Team and to the Division FP&A team.


Responsibilities

  • Provide management with timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis to monitor financial results and enable strategic decision-making.
  • Provides high quality and timely analytical support for projects, strategic initiatives, business development proposals, and other investments.
  • Lead real-time financial performance monitoring.
  • Drive the preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual budget planning process.
  • Responsible for the monthly and quarterly planning cycle and annual target setting process with the CEC Management team and other government contracting entities within the Division
  • Responsible for the preparation and distribution of non-standard management reports and operational analysis for internal use.
  • Establish departmental budgets, ensure accuracy of collecting costs and drive accountability across functional areas.
  • Prepare financial analysis and productivity studies.
  • Provide financial reporting and variance explanations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement through financial analysis
  • Successful completion of OSI trainig required (including training done at Company location)
  • Experience with complex HFM reporting and consolidation
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 7+ years in FP&A role with budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting experience.
  • Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting concepts.
  • Prior experience working in a similar role for a government contactor
  • Experience with Deltek and Oracle EPM Cloud Financial Consolidation and Close
  • Must organize/ prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects and function effectively as a small team member.
