Overview AmTrust Financial Services has a significant number of system, process, data initiatives, and special projects required to be assessed and undertaken by our Finance teams (Finance/Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Actuarial) on an ongoing basis. These efforts vary in size, and may include the implementation of new systems and automations, reports development, process and organization change in support of meeting new legal /regulatory/ accounting requirements, integration of newly acquired businesses, as well as targeted improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. This position uses data analytics to provide business insight, by evaluating processes, identifying requirements, and providing data-driven reports and suggestions to Finance executives and stakeholders. The role will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across AmTrust, including but not limited to senior Financial and Information Technology staff of both US Domestic and International Operations (includes peers, testers, business partners, project managers, developers and the business) to ensure successful delivery of requests, enhancements and projects. The Financial Data Analyst role facilitates discussions amongst Finance stakeholders and the data development team through which requirements are gathered, written, and tested. The Finance Transformation Team is seeking a Financial Data Analyst with experience to perform the following. Responsibilities
Ability to identify and capture complex data from multiple sources and business processes and conduct gap analysis, interpret data and create reports using data analysis tools with Microsoft Excel and SQL.
