Wargaming ISSM

The DCS Air & Space Technology (AST) Sector is seeking a Wargaming ISSM to support HQ USAF at Joint Base Andrews or the national capital region. Our team is developing a title 10 wargame in support of HQ USAF/A5/7 to better refine TTPs, CONOPS and CONEMPS. Become a part of a team to provide IT support for all aspects of wargaming execution, support of GameNet, and manage all hardware to be used by wargaming participants. You will oversee all hardware and software solutions to ensure wargaming tools and requirements are met and comply with DoD standards to be deployed.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides IT (software, hardware, network) support for wargame execution.

Deploys, assembles, and manages LAN server suites.

Manages the hardware components of GameNet to include inventory, distribution to and within wargaming locations, and recovery to steady-state and storage locations.

Manages and operates VTC systems and Conference Room audiovisual suites.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least a Bachelor degree and at least 5 years of related experience in an Air Force operational unit (squadron or group level).

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: bring Active security clearance, Secret or higher.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in network management and engineering. Meet the requirements of DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or III.

Knowledge of Air Force IT enterprise and system administration.

Ability to travel as needed.

Desired Skills:

TS/SCI eligible security clearance.

Knowledge of GameNet Wargame Information Environment (WIE).
