Warehouse Associate II

Toshiba America Business Solutions, a leader in digital technology, is seeking a Warehouse Associate II working in the East Syracuse, NY warehouse.

Summary: Maintain, monitor, and move materials in, thru, and out of the warehouse.

Responsibilities:



  • Load and unload freight/products in an efficient and safe manner. Communicate identified problems to management.
  • Back up Delivery Driver as needed. Responsible for operating the vehicle in a safe manner, including following DOT rules and regulations for truck safety. Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean and kept in working order. Provide work direction to less senior warehouse staff
  • Verify incoming/outgoing material against accompanying documents to determine completeness and accuracy. Maintain inventory records in the designated computer system. Reconcile paperwork and returns as required.
  • Operate all material handling equipment including but not limited to forklift, hand truck, handheld scanners, iPads, and computers. May be required to charge a forklift. Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work area, ensure proper disposal of trash, adhere to safety rules, and follow all security procedures.
  • May assemble, pack and pick materials. May kit materials as required. Perform counting activities for physical inventory, cycle count, shipping or receiving accuracy. Move or remove material to/from the appropriate storage area. Identify damaged goods.
  • Conduct job responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner according to TABS safety policies and procedures. Comply with all local, state and federal safety and health regulations, programmatic standards, and special safety concerns identified by TABS for use in specific areas or with clients/customers. Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of material handling or warehouse operations.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record. Must meet all DOT (Dept of Transportation) requirements once hired.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Operate a computer and update data/portals and working knowledge of computerized inventory.
  • Operate a forklift.
