Position: Machine Operator (2 or 3, depending on experience) Location: Hartselle, AL Pay Rate: $20.44-$22.71, + .75 Shift Diff Shift: Second Responsibilities: * Safely operates single-ply machines. * Observes all safety procedures and guidelines. * Maintains good housekeeping practices. * Complies with safety policies and procedures. * Adheres to proper lifting techniques. * Works well with others. * Reports defective equipment and supplies. * Shares in maintaining general work area cleanliness and order. * Stays alert at all times. * Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications: Experience: Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Skills: Good communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Ability to read/write English. Physical Requirements: Lifting products/materials of varying weight and sizes; frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and walking. Additional physical requirements may be necessary. Machines, Tools, and Equipment: Single-ply machines, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, banders, saws, grinders, screwdrivers, hammers, drill motors, metal snaps, nails, staples, screws, wrenches, and other shop tools. Environmental Demands: Exposure to noise, vibration, heat, cold, chemicals, greases, lubricants, and various other plant substances. Temperatures can range from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
