Executive Service EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR 1 Department of Military Tennessee Emergency Management Agency Nashville, TN Salary: $5,050.00 - $7570.00 Closing Date: 04/14/2025This position will work 40% remotely from home. Job Overview: The Tennessee Military Department is currently accepting resumes for the position of Emergency Management Administrator 1 to serve as the Faith-Based Organizations Partnerships Manager for the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA). This position will serve as the Agency's main point of contact for faith-based organizations, including houses of worship. The Faith-Based Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for strengthening TEMA's relationships with communities of all faiths and denominations and assisting houses of worship in the preparation for, response to, and recovery from disasters. The selected candidate will report to the Intergovernmental Relations Manager within TEMA's Administration & Mission Support Division. The individual must have the ability to establish and implement a strategic vision while applying a supporting process to building a resilient community or organization. This individual must be able to engage core stakeholders in the process while also applying certain technical knowledge toward finding solutions to meet organizational goals. This person must have the ability to manage both human and financial resources to accomplish a more resilient organization, state, and faith community. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to five (5) years of full-time experience in emergency management work, including but not limited to, response and recovery, planning, programs, operations, preparedness, or mitigation, and/or faith-based organizations, including but not limited to those active in the disaster response space.
