POSITION TITLE: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

Position Overview:

ADB is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to provide support with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Reporting directly to the Director, FP&A, this position will perform junior level financial analysis and reporting to support the strategic decision making across the entire organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, expert reporting and data analytics skills, a solid understanding of job cost accounting principles with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

Roles and Responsibilities:



  • In close partnership with the Director, FP&A, provides financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and modeling support for the entire organization
  • Provides operational analysis on financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Advanced ability to create and provide various reports and dashboards utilizing business intelligence systems and tools (Power BI)
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning
  • Assists in preparing financial reports, variance analysis and presentations for management teams
  • Prepares ad-hoc financial analysis and reports when requested to support decision making
  • Highly interdependent with accounting, finance, functional and operational teams to create cost analysis, pricing strategies and process improvements
  • Provides insights and recommendations to SR Leaders to drive business performance
  • Supports the build of internal controls and processes; innovates company practices to drive efficiency and data integrity
  • Ability to be flexibility and support a fast paced, demanding work schedule with tight deadlines
  • Performs other position duties when requested by leadership

Work Environment:



  • This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment located at corporate headquarters: 18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MO 63069. We are open to candidates located near a regional office including Chicago, San Antonio, Dallas, and/or Cincinnati but would prefer Charlotte, NC.


Experience and Education:



  • 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst within a corporate environment required
  • Job Cost accounting experience within the construction/manufacturing industry strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred but not required


The starting pay for this position is $80,000.00 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
