Position Summary:

As our Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the Engineering Department & ensuring KPIs are met.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Minimum 5 year's engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Previous experience in Cable Assembly Manufacturing, IPC-620, JSTD a plus
  • Must have In-depth knowledge of highly technical engineering principles and processes in the mil/aero industry
  • Experience with CAD software
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems

Are You Our Next ACE?



  • Direct responsibility for the Engineering Department including overseeing engineering design activities and personnel labor allocation and training
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of engineering designs, mechanical data sheets, code calculations and design specifications
  • Interview employment candidates, qualify personnel, and Conduct merit reviews when appropriate
  • Define department's engineering activity layout and design of workflow and tooling requirements
  • Enforce the 5S program, make sure all department employees are trained, and assign department audit duties
  • Provide guidance on engineering processes
  • Collaborate with customers on technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Ensure design manufacturability by working closely with production
  • Develop and improve assembly processes
  • Perform root cause analysis and Corrective/Preventive actions
  • Assign and track project tasks, deadlines, and deliverables within the engineering department

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 (DOE). Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
