Wash and sanitize meat tools like slicers and grinders to keep everything safe. Make sure meat preparation and storage areas are tidy and follow health rules. Get rid of meat scraps properly, following safety rules. Monitor fridges to keep meat at safe temperatures. Refill cleaning products and safety gear for the team. Wash the tools and surfaces used by butchers. Practice good handwashing and sanitation. Talk with the team about cleaning schedules and what supplies are needed. Maintain records of cleaning and sanitation as required. Adhere to cleanliness, safety, and hygiene rules. Qualifications: No experience, No Problem Physical Demands: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds Standing for long periods of time Repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching Pushing or pulling heavy carts and equipment Frequent cleaning and sanitizing tasks (floor, counters, equipment) Reasonable accommodations can be provided Environmental Demands: Exposure to cold temperatures (meat storage areas may be below freezing) Exposure to strong odors (meat, cleaning chemicals) Wet and slippery floors Noisy environment (due to machinery) Potential exposure to sharp objects (knives, slicers) If you're interested in being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!
