Responsibilities

    Provides comprehensive audits to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and clients receive the highest level of care
  • Ensures NYC Human Resource Administration and EQUUS policies and procedures are monitored and updated to include regulatory changes
  • Conducts statistical data comparisons using MS Excel
  • Develops quality improvement processes by reviewing clinical assessment activities and administrative systems
  • Records, compiles, and analyzes performance and compliance information to ensure quality
  • Reviews clinical assessment operational procedures and processes; makes recommendations for improvement
  • Comprehensive understanding of Quality Case Note Documentation and Standard Practices
  • Evaluates internal reports related to clinical assessment processes and outcomes and provide all required monitoring documents to the manager for approval and, as required, submission
  • Develops and implements continuous quality improvement processes
  • Reviews customer survey data and provides management with recommendations for improvement, if needed
  • Communicates effectively with program management using good judgment and diplomacy
  • Clearly articulates and documents that staff are performing timely and accurate services according to operational procedures and processes
  • Provides audit reports to manger and keeps management informed as to the status of program quality matters, including performance


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Care Management or a related field such a Psychology, Vocational Rehabilitation, or Occupational Rehabilitation and three years direct customer service experience in a clinical or social service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in conducting quality assurance auditing activities preferred
  • Familiarity with Wellness, Comprehensive Assessment, Rehabilitation and Employment (WeCARE) Program
  • Experience with NYC Human Resource Administration/Family Independence Administration and Customized Assistance Services
  • Experience of NYC integrated services that evaluate the clients abilities and addresses the needs of Cash Assistance clients with medical and/or mental health conditions that may affect their employability
  • Experience in a fast-paced, team environment that is performance driven
  • Exceptional customer service and engagement skills; and care management
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong diligence to being detail minded
  • Experience with publicly funded programs; TANF experience
  • Experience working with Vocational Rehabilitation Services, and Individual Vocational Assessment Plans
  • Experience in assessing the need for and making reasonable accommodations for clients
  • Knowledge of HIPAA/PII laws and regulatory requirements related to program responsibilities
  • Ability to use MS Word Suite and various client-based systems to carry out daily duties and responsibilities
  • Experience in understanding clinical assessments and Functional Capacity Outcomes
  • Bilingual or multilingual preferred
