The Esophageal and Airway Treatment Program provides lifesaving/life changing surgeries to help children. We offer two surgeries to correct airway malformation (Posterior and Anterior Tracheopexy) that can significantly improve a child's life and overall health.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The professional clinical LPN provides patient centered, specialized, evidence based care under the supervision of a registered nurse through a professional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy. This position contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team, this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH.

Work Hours: Days (M-F)

QUALIFICATIONS:




  • A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
  • Current and active State of Florida LPN License
  • Current BLS certification, AHA
  • PALS within the first year of hire, not required if hired in Employee Health
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English
  • This position is heavy care coordination. Working with families from intake to follow up after surgery.

Salary Range: Minimum 23.11 per hour - Maximum 35.82 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
