ORA/Anesthesia Support Tech - 40 hours 10:30a-7p

Job Summary

• Reporting to Clinical Nurse Manager, Operating Room with responsibility to the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia, the OR/Anesthesia Support Technician is an integral member of the multidisciplinary perioperative team. This team member is responsible for the cleanliness of the department and various pieces of equipment, stocking of supplies, acting as patient transport, relaying messages, specimens and supplies, assisting with patient positioning, troubleshooting and transporting equipment and medications under the supervision of the anesthesia provider and/or perioperative registered nurse

  Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience
  • Previous operating room experience preferred
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required or become registered within 9 months of hire.
  • BLS healthcare provider required or attained within 9 months of hire.
