Position Purpose |
Ensures good record-keeping procedures and best practices across Dartmouth's departments and offices to maintain institutional records throughout their lifecycle. Meets with offices and departments to analyze business practices and requirements for both paper and electronic records, and to advocate for proper policies and practices that meet the administrative, fiscal, historical, and legal needs of the institution. Surveys and appraises Dartmouth records to identify records series and develop appropriate file plans.
This position is hybrid work location eligible. |

* Demonstrated knowledge of records management analysis and retention schedule development
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and workflows
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and service-oriented environment
* Ability to work discreetly with sensitive or confidential materials |
Preferred Qualifications |
* Masters in Library and Information Sciences; or Certified Records Analyst (
CRA)
* Demonstrated knowledge of archival and records management standards, theory, and analysis
* Experience with records and archives information management systems, such as OnBase or ArchivesSpace |
