General Duties: Key member of the executive team who is responsible for managing the Human Resources, payroll, and benefits team throughout all Field Aerospace facilities within Canada and the US. Ensure alignment with company goals, and promoting productive, compliant, and positive work environment. Working directly with the management team to provide strategic value and input to the business value by promoting the required human capital leadership and organizational capabilities throughout Field Aerospace. Essential Job Functions: * Direct and guide the Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits teams across all facilities in their daily activities. * Develop and maintain a standardized recruitment process. * Develop and maintain a standardized performance review/evaluation process/incentive programs as mandated by the company. * Collaborate with senior management to provide ongoing strategic input in ensuring organizational alignment to a common direction throughout the business. * Driving corporate results through effective leadership, succession planning and talent management. * Manage HR teams to identify discrepancies and inadequacies in performance to facilitate and the required support to the affected supervisor and employee. * Responsible for compliance and accuracy within all company job descriptions. * Draft, negotiate and approve all employee related contractual matters. * Investigate, validate and approve all employee terminations. * Ensure all required employee investigations are appropriately conducted and completed. * Responsible for union negotiations and collective agreement compliance. * Monitor the human resources and training directory within the company mandated software. * Collaborate with the quality department to ensure proper tracking of all required employee quality training. * Implement, develop/revise and coordinate all company policies and procedures and their approval process. * Promote employee recognition and retention. * Promote corporate goals. * Oversee the yearly HR and HS budget and develop the required corporate, professional development and health and safety training throughout the corporation. Skills and Experiences: * Familiarity with the aviation business. * Experienced in understanding employment contractual matters. * Compliance as related to HR, Benefits, and Payroll * Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment law. * Minimum 5 years management experience Competencies: * Integrity * Excellence * Accountability * Innovation * Initiative and assertiveness * Organizational awareness * Delegating skills * Project management * Strategic and innovative * Excellent oral and written communication skills Ethical and discrete Education: * Minimum BA * MBA, Law Degree, or advanced Human Resources Professional Physical Requirements: * The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
