Experience Design Lead - Financial Services

As an FS Experience design lead you will focus on Customer Experience Strategy, and be a key leader in driving transformative design solutions for our Financial Services clients. You will guide and inspire multidisciplinary teams to create end-to-end customer experiences that are seamless, intuitive, and aligned with client business goals. Your deep expertise in customer experience strategy will help shape design roadmaps, influencing both the digital and physical touchpoints where customers interact with brands. By blending design thinking with strategic insight and FS domain expertise, you will ensure that our design solutions not only meet customer needs but also drive measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with clients to identify opportunities for innovation and lead the design of impactful, integrated customer experiences across diverse industries.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in customer experience strategy, design thinking, and human-centered design methodologies, with a portfolio showcasing transformative projects.
  • Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring cross-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration between design, technology, and business stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of the end-to-end design process, including research, ideation, prototyping, and implementation, with a focus on customer journey mapping and touchpoint optimization.
  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles, with a strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate business challenges into actionable design solutions.
  • Proficiency with design tools and technologies (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and an understanding of how to integrate design with technology solutions.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role with a strong track record of driving business growth, securing new clients, and expanding existing relationships through consultative selling and strategic partnerships.

Set Yourself Apart With:

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in design, customer experience strategy, or related fields (e.g., MBA, Certified Design Thinking Professional).
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and voice interfaces, and how they can be integrated into customer experience solutions.
  • Strong background in measuring the impact of customer experience strategies using KPIs, user feedback, and other performance metrics.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design leadership, fostering both creativity and execution excellence.
  • Experience in leading large-scale, global customer experience transformation initiatives across Financial Services.
Additional Information

Level: Director/Sr Director

Base Salary: Dependant on location and experience the range is $200,000-$240,000 USD.
