  • Estimated annual base pay: $76,560(minimum) - $95,700(midpoint) - $114,840(maximum

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain applications and solutions usingIgnition Platformsoftware.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code for system integrations, automation, and data processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize industrial and business systems.
  • Create and maintain Ignition projects, including visualization, scripting, and database connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ignition applications, Python scripts, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Work with SQL databases to query, analyze, and manipulate data for various applications.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers or team members as needed.
  • Document development processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to It, OT, Industrial IoT, and industrial automation.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in software development, IT, or industrial automation required.
  • Hands-on experience withIgnition Platform (design, configuration, scripting, and troubleshooting).
  • Proficiency inPython programmingfor automation and system integration.
  • Strong understanding ofSQL databases(querying, optimization, and integration).
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., OPC, MQTT) and their application in SCADA systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Ignition Perspective or Vision modules.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, or IoT devices.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages or frameworks beyond Python (e.g., JavaScript, Java).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies or experience working in Agile teams.
