Genentech is seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Scientist in Computational Biology to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work in a highly interdisciplinary group at the intersection of Genentech's Computational Sciences, Immunology Discovery & Regenerative Medicine and Translational Medicine Departments. The Opportunity In this role, you will be responsible for planning and analyzing large-scale multi-omic experiments for inflammatory diseases at both the bulk and single-cell levels. These experiments aim to generate novel insights, particularly in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). This will involve using data from both preclinical models and patient samples. The ultimate goal is to deepen our understanding of disease biology and progression, directly informing the discovery of novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers. Additionally, your work will address key project team questions related to both forward and reverse translation.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
