The Opportunity:

The FacultyDataCoordinator reports to the Program Manager in the Faculty Affairs Department. The FacultyDataCoordinator will support the Faculty Affairs, Appointments, and Engagement office by managing various processes related to the College of Medicine's courtesy faculty across multiple departments and academic programs as directed by the manager. The position will coordinate faculty activities, data analytics, and reporting, and provide scheduling, planning, and project support. Provide directions to others to ensure procedures are upheld for effective office operations; develop and implement administrative standards, policies, and procedures.

Classification Title: Academic Program Coordinator I

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and track the courtesy faculty activities across several departments and academic programs (Academic Affairs, Graduate Medical Education Dept, BSBS and Nemours-Dept of Pediatrics, etc.).

  • Data Analytics and Reporting - collect, analyze, and report data related to faculty appointments, engagement level, and effort, tracking the sufficiency of faculty with curriculum needs.

  • Assist in preparing reports and data presentations for internal/external stakeholders Provide support for ongoing projects and data information systems ensuring deadlines are met and progress is tracked.

  • Collaborate with Academic Affairs, IT and Planning and Knowledge Management departments for quality assurance of data systems.

  • Manage logistics for appointment committee meetings, including scheduling and preparing faculty dossiers.

  • Maintain records of committee activities and provide follow-up support to ensure timely completion of assignments.

  • Update appointment criteria, policies and guidelines in the COM Faculty Handbook and Faculty Affairs website as directed by manager.

  • Oversee records retention policy and digitization of faculty files.

  • Assist with faculty credentialing process during high-volume periods.

  • Other duties as assigned to include but not limited to the timely completion of university and college trainings and updates.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 2+ years in academic medicine or related healthcare business.

  • Strong analytical and strategic capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data related to faculty programs.

  • Ability to work with data warehouses, databases, and dashboards.

  • A proven track record of managing projects and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders is essential.
