ORC is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Q/A Right of Way Title Agent. The selected candidate must reside in the United States and will have the flexibility to work from their home office. What you will be doing: As the Q/A Right of Way Title Agent, you will be responsible for reviewing all title packages, across multiple states and counties, to ensure the title report is completed accurately and all supporting documents are included. This will involve double checking that interests were calculated correctly that all required information is in the report, information aligns with documentation provided and that correct supporting documents have been provided. If anything doesn't align or is missing the Q/A Title Agent will need to inquire with the Title Agent so they can update the packet. Ensuring interests are there and calculated correctly, title report is completed correctly and verifying all information is correct. Must know when to ask how information was obtained/calculated, reference/cross check back up documentation (knowing what should be included in packet), and what to be looking for on back up documents in the report. Example: Make sure that documents align with calculations, names, plats...All appropriate documents are included. Know to ask if/why things are not aligning or missing.

Physical Requirements: English language proficient. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This role requires the employee to occasionally travel to meet with clients or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations. While meeting with clients and vendors, will need to be outdoors traversing different types of landscapes. May be exposed to the elements (heat, rain, snow, cold).
