*TEKsystems is looking for a strong Kubernetes Engineer. 100% remote!!!*
*W2 Only, not available for C2C. * *TOP SKILLS* 1. Kubernetes - Container Orchestration experience. Building & Maintaining Kubernetes Clusters. 2. Openshift - Container Orchestration experience. Will leverage Openshift to help manage Kubernetes clustered environment. 3. Linux - In depth knowledge of this ideally within On-premise environment. Hiring managers perspective is without this piece candidate will struggle solving complex issues that require and in depth view into Kubernetes. 4. GitOps/ArgoCD - is migrating towards more of this approach. Less Pipelines and more Automation. Will leverage this to manage Kubernetes at Scale. Just started to make the plunge towards this. Learned some lessons from this and looking for someone to come in with expertise in this area that can guide them with technical decisions related to this. Will use ArgoCD within the GITOps environment to manage specific Kubernetes based application deployments. 5. On Premise Experience - Ideal candidate will need to have extensive on premise Linux and Kubernetes experience and then moved towards Cloud. Not looking for a "Cloud Focused" Kubernetes resource. Need to know both On premise Datacenter and Cloud environments. 6. Scripting - Python preferred but open to Bash. This environment leverages Python for more complex issues. Ex: making two pieces of technology talk that don't normally talk to one another etc. *Description* Looking for in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes Clustered environments. This position will require the candidate to have experience with Kubernetes clustered environments at scale using (GitOps). Experience deploying, building and maintaining Openshift environments. The ideal candidate will have come up through the ranks as a Linux Systems admin/engineer and moved into a Kubernetes role. This is due to Kubernetes being similar to Linux Orchestration. Someone who understands and can explain to you networking at the Linux Kernel level. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
