JOB SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator, Graduate Admissions serves as the primary pointofcontact for prospective graduate students through email, phone and in-person customer service. The primary recruitment focus of this role is for professional master's global graduate programs. This position plans on-campus and virtual recruitment opportunities for prospective students, as well as represents the graduate programs at recruitment fairs. This position also provides support for the graduate admission customer relationship management system/Slate.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for prospective graduate students; provides phone, email, in-person,and virtualcustomer service; collaborates with team members on the graduate communication plan

  • Serves as liaison to Global team members.

  • Reads, interprets, and evaluates students' academic credentials and makes admission/denial decisions; assists with scholarship appropriation

  • Coordinates events both on-campus and virtual events for prospective students; attends graduate and career recruitment events

  • Collaborates with campus partners on initiatives to grow and maintain graduate enrollment at the institution

  • Participates as an active member of the recruitment team; assists with special programs and research projects; participates in the development and implementation of enrollment strategies; composes routine letters; compiles data for reports; maintains calendar; processes applications; schedules appointments; maintains confidential files; prepares papers/reports; inputs/retrieves data on information system software; plans work and establishes priorities

  • Conducts research on best practices and policies related to graduate recruitment; trains other admission staff membersand additional university stakeholderson graduate admission related topics

  • Serves as an administrator of the graduate admissionCRM; assists with uploading student documents; releases decision letters for applicants

  • Supervises intern/student workers with goals aligned with graduate enrollment initiatives and strategies

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to build relationships with and recruit a diverse population of students from all over the world

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Two years of related experience
