Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 9 to 12 years of experience in Microservices Java 8 Java 11 Java Core Java Advanced JavaScript and Advanced Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Asset & Wealth Management and Cards & Payments. This hybrid role requires a dedicated individual who can work in a day shift with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of microservices architecture to ensure scalability and performance.
• Oversee the implementation of Java-based applications using Java 8 Java 11 and Core Java.
• Provide technical expertise in Advanced JavaScript to enhance front-end functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and frameworks to improve development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in Asset & Wealth Management and Cards & Payments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in Microservices Java 8 Java 11 Java Core Java Advanced JavaScript and Advanced Java.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Show a deep understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
• Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
• Display a strong knowledge of Asset & Wealth Management and Cards & Payments domains.
• Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Possess a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends.

Certifications Required

Certified Java Developer Certified Microservices Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 19, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
