We are currently seeking a Front-End Technical Lead - Web to join our team in Westlake, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Position can be in Plano, TX or Westlake, TX.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical leadership to junior team members

- Engage with multiple groups to prototype solutions and provide common solutions.

- Analyze business direction, understand the long-term vision, and quantify the risk/benefits in developing strategic technical solutions. Collaborate closely with the product owners and squads in technology evaluation, selection, recommendation, and configuration

- Build and maintain effective relationships with product owners, architects, and software engineers. Seek opportunities to refactor business processes, improve user experience or perform capability rationalization

- Champion, identify, and drive development standards to improve quality, efficiency, reliability, and consistency

- Partner across the chapter and product areas to define and implement engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices

- Provide front end engineering thought leadership to advance the Digital Experience

- Collaborate with technology and business partners across Fidelity to provide strategic input into the long-term direction and roadmaps

- Grow front end engineering talent through coaching and mentoring

- Manage Shared Libraries, working with design systems

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of hands-on front-end software engineer using modern JavaScript frameworks.

- 5+ years of solution architecture, analytics, design, and development of enterprise solutions in multiple technology platforms, frameworks, and languages.

- 5+ years leading front-end frameworks and web technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript or Typescript, web components, Node.js or Angular.

- Building digital restful APIs (GraphQL)

- 3+ years of current DevOps practices and current CI + CD frameworks

Software Engineering skills include:

- Angular, Typescript, NX Workspace, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

- Karma/Jasmine, Jest, Cypress, Playwright

- Web Components, Component Architecture

- GraphQL / Rest API expertise

- GIT, Jenkins, Node.js

- DevOps - Jenkins orJenkinsCore, Git/GitHub

- CI/CD delivery code (Groovy or other)

Education:

- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
