People Solutions Navigator III - Leave of Absence

The People Solutions Navigator III serves as a primary point of contact for team member and leader inquiries regarding Human Resources concerns in specialty areas including Leaves of Absence. Working under minimal supervision for routine situations, this role exhibits excellent customer service to resolve various issues, coordinates more complex business processes, and provides expertise support to specific departmental needs.
Offers recommendations regarding specialty HR inquiries in adherence to established protocol and policies to resolve employee issues.
Leads the implementation of special projects within Human Resources to promote learning and a positive employee experience.
Promotes conflict resolution by using effective communication techniques to de-escalate the situation.
Maintains knowledge of current laws and HR policies in order to make accurate judgements in response to employee inquiries.
Updates the HR Knowledge Base when new information is encountered that may affect procedures.
Provides unique insight to key areas of the business such as Processes + Platform Functionality, Compliance, Advanced Pre-boarding, Adv Leaves/Worker's Comp, and Bonus Management.
Acts as a preceptor to more junior team members, supporting their growth and development in the department.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE:

Required: 5 years of related experience

Preferred: Human Resources experience, including ADA, FMLA and/or Leaves of Absence
