Position Summary |
This position is responsible for professional work within the Office of the Registrar's Curriculum Systems unit. The position plays a key role in specific, curriculum-related programs and functions on campus that originate in the Office of the Registrar, including program requirement review and managing the program update system,
PARC, and publication of the
UGA Bulletin. As the point of contact for
PARC and the
UGA Bulletin, the position manages the proposal review process, provides guidance to schools and colleges on proposal submissions, and ensures proposals are compliant with
UGA,
USG, and
SACSCOC policies. The position also provides general office support to the Curriculum Systems unit. The position performs these duties with a significant degree of autonomy and independence. |

Management of the Curriculum Revision and Approval Process
- Facilitate the proposal process for curriculum in the PARC system
- Review curriculum proposals for accuracy and compliance with UGA, USG, and SACSCOC policies and procedures
- Provide support to the faculty and staff that use the PARC system, including responding to phone calls and emails, managing access to the system, and delivering training in-person and online
- Assist with course integration to ensure accuracy of course data in the PARC system
- Manage required course updates to programs of study
- Manage updates to four-year programs of study
- Manage the process for reviewing and updating all materials in the Bulletin, including policies, university-wide requirements, and university information
- Collaborate with the DegreeWorks team to ensure accuracy of programming

Management of the Production of the
UGA Bulletin
- Collaborate with appropriate offices on determining the timing of updates to the release of the UGA Bulletin each year Review the program requirements in the Bulletin to ensure accuracy
- Work with Business Analysts and ADU to develop and enhance functionality in the Bulletin
- Respond to questions about the Bulletin and requirements from faculty, staff, administrators, and other constituents via email and phone
- Ensure UGA Bulletin contacts are updated on a regular basis
- Manage the UGA Bulletin email account

General Curriculum Support
- Assist with the CAPA system, the Study Abroad/Field Study academic review process, and course designations
- Assist with the operations of the various programs managed by the Curriculum Systems unit, including reviewing proposals, scheduling classes, responding to faculty, staff, and students, and promoting the programs at Orientation and recruitment events
- Provide additional support to the Curriculum Systems unit and the Office of the Registrar on an as-needed basis
