HVAC Technician

• Communicate with Site Supervisor to determine service needs and supervise client sub-contractors.
• Perform HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for various equipment.
• Maintain and operate HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, chillers, and air handling units.
• Keep accurate documentation like service reports, refrigerant logs, and equipment records in the CMMS system.
• Monitor and adjust building automation systems as needed.
• Respond to temperature complaints, making necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks, including plumbing and other facility issues.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 5-7 years of HVAC facility maintenance experience and strong knowledge of HVAC equipment like chillers and raised floor AC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and proficiency in basic computer use, including email and internet.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and energy management systems, with organizational and time management abilities for supervising sub-contractors and maintaining records.
• EPA Universal or Mechanical IV HVAC License preferred, with the ability to obtain an EPA certification within six months and a valid driver's license in good standing.
