Material Handler

Pay: $19.52 per hour

Shift: 12-hour Day Shift, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Manage and inspect the product as it comes off the line and falls into buckets
• Secure the top on the bucket and move it to the pallet
• Operate a sit-down forklift to dump bins or move pallets to the staging area
• Transfer finished products from the production line, securing them with steel banding or shrink wrap for shipment
• Move palletized materials to temporary storage inspection stations or loading docks
• Work as a Production Operator to ensure products are processed accurately on the production line

Qualifications:

• 5 years of heavy industrial experience in the steel industry
• 3-5 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to train on the day shift for several weeks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
