Maintenance Technician

Our partner, a respected building maintenance company, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Westwood, MA. This direct-hire role offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Work Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Pay: $35.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial building operations and maintenance
• High school diploma and technical school certification
• Massachusetts Refrigeration Journeyman License
• Expertise in commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Prior experience with chemical treatment of non-potable water and steam systems
• Strong understanding of current building operation issues, including CFC and indoor air quality (IAQ)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, basic carpentry, steam systems, and specialty items such as doors, locks, and furniture
• Collaborate with licensed tradespeople and engineers to carry out preventive maintenance tasks
• Keep accurate maintenance records in accordance with building systems
• Train or orient employees on building operations as needed
• Make recommendations to supervisors about defective equipment
