    Job Description:
    We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced Youth Triathlon Training Coach to join our team. This coach will be responsible for leading and developing training sessions for youth athletes grades K-8. As a coach, you will inspire young athletes to reach their full potential, create a fun and motivating atmosphere, and promote a positive experience in the sport of triathlon.

    Essential Job Duties/Responsibilites:
    • Lead group training sessions for youth athletes, focusing on technique, endurance, strength, and overall fitness.
    • Ensure safety and proper use of equipment during training sessions.
    • Develop and implement age-appropriate triathlon training plans (swim, bike, run).
    • Foster a positive and encouraging environment where athletes feel supported and challenged.
    • Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, and a healthy attitude toward competition.
    • Help athletes set and achieve personal goals in triathlon.

    Training and Experience:
    • Previous experience coaching youth triathletes or other youth sports teams is preferred.
    • Knowledge of triathlon training principles and techniques for youth athletes.
    • Ability to work with young athletes in a fun, energetic, and engaging way.
    • Certification in CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain within a certain timeframe).

    Knowledge and Skills:
    • Passion for triathlon and youth development.
    • Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of athletes.
    • Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changes in schedules and athlete needs.
