Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Warfighter Integration support SDA's mission. Candidate must be able to work onsite full time and travel to other sites on Oahu regularly. The candidate's key responsibilites are to support the Space Development Agency, Pacific (SDAPAC) Director in the following areas:



Responsibilities

    Deployment and integration of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). Providing enterprise-wide integration of the PWSA with USINDOPACOM, its subordinate commands, component commands, direct reporting units, standing joint task forces, strategic mission partners, and ally and partner nations.
  • Represent SDAPAC to the host command and the host command to SDA
  • Be a self-starter comfortable and capable of working alone or in teams to develop plans, presentations, schedules, and other products that contributes to the SDAPAC mission to help accelerate PWSA integration into USINDOPACOM operations.
  • Support SDA Test and evaluation of space-based capability supporting forces in air, land, and sea domains
  • Solicit operational needs from military stakeholders at host command and lower echelons to provide SDA HQ with necessary PWSA upgrades for future tranches
  • Attend SDA's Warfighter Working Group (WWG) bi-weekly and recruit uniform stakeholders to at your host command and lower echelons to participate
  • Attend SDA's Warfighter Council (WFC) and prepare the Commander and other stakeholders at your host command of the scope and objective of the WFC
  • Support Exercise and Wargame planning and execution processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations on military and space-related issues.
  • Travel < 25% on average, but there can be times when travel over 25% is necessary


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Current experience with space systems, e.g., requirements development, test and evaluation of cmmunications systems in all domains
  • Experience with Exercise and/or Military Operational Planning
  • Experience/Background/Education in one of more of the following: program mangere, technology transition and integration in military options, working knowledge of complex network architectures, working knowledge of military targeting process in all domains, experience analysing military tactics, technicques, and procedures, technologies and strategis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • TS/SCI Eligibility; #qinetiqclearedjob

  • Master's degree in technical discipline
