*Large hospital network is seeking experienced medical scheduling representatives to join their specialized radiology scheduling team! *
*Description* The Scheduling Rep oversees patient scheduling for appointments and outpatient testing, procedures, and exams. This position has a solid understanding of insurance eligibility, performs updates and corrections for insurance information, and evaluates the medical necessity of procedures for Medicare patients. This position works closely with insurance verifiers to authorize scheduled patient services and keeps up to date documentation on patient accounts and eligibility. The ability to Compassionately engage in conversation with patients on their responsibilities for Copayment, Prepayment and Outstanding Balances. *Qualifications* -1-2 years of Radiology scheduling experience such as CT MRI US FL NEURO. -1-2 years experience with EPIC -Detail oriented. Can work well under pressure. *Hours* Shift Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm onsite in Hammond, IN #centralpriority25 *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
