Description:

We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance/Operations Assistant in our Neenah Mill located in Neenah, WI. This position Provide Maintenance and Operations support to the Neenah Mill and Converting operations to achieve targeted facility and Fine Paper objectives. Priority focus on supporting the safety and value of employees, while also supporting continual improvement in maintenance efficiency, asset reliability, and cost management. Strong attention to detail is essential in the success of the various programs used at Mativ.

  • Accountable and responsible for controlling the locks and keys for LOTO program.
  • Support the management of security databases (access cards, cameras, keys, and locks)
  • Work to fully utilize the EAM system. First step in this process will be to train all operators on work request.
  • Work with Safety Manager to assign and track computer based safety training
  • Create Monthly EAM KPI reports and forward to Maintenance/Engineering Manager
  • Support Strategic Initiatives, Capital Development and Plant Spending
  • Enter requisitions for service PO's, capital projects, and operations and maintenance needs as needed.
  • Participate in cross functional teams to share best practices and improve performance of all assets as requested
  • Work with Engineering Admin and Small Stores Supervisor and backfill for each other as needed.
  • Assist in building and maintaining equipment inventory database.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years experience in administrative role.
  • Experience working in a paper mill or industrial environment a plus
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Project, SharePoint, Visio, and MS Teams software
  • Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, active listening, and presentation)
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influence skills
  • Strong time management and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
