Position: Architect II

Job Duties:

1. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs for Insight.
2. Automate (Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration-as-Code) and management of both on-premises infrastructure and applications, cloud hosted Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service capabilities (Azure) including virtual networks, virtual machines, Docker, Kubernetes, and data services.
3. Responsible for mapping cloud adoption plans, application design, and cloud management and monitoring.
4. Deploy Infrastructure and automate services using Azure DevOps pipelines.
5. Assist with Insight's sales pursuit, gather requirements, deliver statement of work proposals by working with the stakeholders and become trusted advisor with the client.
6. Design applications on Azure that are scalable, resilient, and highly available.
7. Deploy through automation and translate from and/or contribute to application design architectures for Azure.
8. Design, Architect and implement IaaS and PaaS solutions on Azure using ARM templates, Terraforms and PowerShell or Bash scripts.
9. Leverage cross-platform command line interfaces such as; Azure CLI or PowerShell to develop, deploy and manage Azure applications
10. Work on standardizing Azure Security's best practices, processes, and procedures
11. Define system level design architectures and deployment strategies
12. Position is based out of Chandler, AZ HQ but telecommuting is permitted on a case-by-case basis.

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, or closely related.

Experience Requirements:

• 36 months of experience in job offered, Software Developer, SharePoint Developer, Solution Architect, Application Development Architect, or closely related.

Special skills requirements:

1. Implement Build and Release Pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate the merging and testing of code (Continuous Integration) & deployment of applications to various environments such as test and production (Continuous Deployment)
2. Experience in building applications using Microsoft development technologies such as C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Microsoft Graph API, SharePoint APIs.
3. Experience in creating Azure resources manager templates (ARM) to automate the deployment of web applications to Azure cloud.
4. Experience in Data Analytics, BOTS, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and other advanced technologies
5. Experience with User Interface design such as Kendo UI, Bootstrap and other frameworks.
6. Worked in structured and unstructured databases.
7. Worked with global teams providing IT solutions. Defined, Delivered and managed business and technology solutions.
8. Experience with cloud hosting solutions.

Salary: Available upon request
