The M&A and Program Analyst is a key contributor to the effectiveness of the McKesson Real Estate (MRE) team. The M&A and Program Analyst will be within the MRE Operations organization. This role will spend 50% of their time representing Real Estate on corporate M&A transactions, and 50% of their time coordinating and managing select program, project, and initiative tracking across McKesson Real Estate.

This role will work closely with teams within Real Estate, including Business Enablement, Finance, Delivery, Operations, and Facilities Management. They will also work closely with Business development, Legal and the Integration Management Organization supporting the McKesson enterprise. They will maintain reporting and actionable plans to execute the organization's missions and goals and will help to manage the change and evolution that is needed to create a best-in-class Real Estate organization.

At times, this role can be involved in projects across the organization that may have scope outside of their primary responsibilities. This candidate should have the ability to be agile during organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • M&A Program Support and coordination - M&A analysts need to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication skills to articulate their findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Due Diligence:
    • Participate as a Real Estate representative in the due diligence process to ensure all financial, legal, and operational aspects of a potential deal are evaluated.
    • Collaborate with legal, accounting, and operational teams to identify potential risks and liabilities.
    • Prepare due diligence reports with oversight from Real Estate leadership
  • Presentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations.
    • Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to support decision-making.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate with various internal departments and external advisors to understand Real Estate impacts.
    • Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the M&A process.
  • Post-Merger Integration:
    • Assist in the integration process post-acquisition to ensure that the merger or acquisition achieves its intended strategic and financial goals.
    • Coordinate with Real Estate teams to streamline integration process.
    • Monitor the performance of the newly combined entities and provide insights for optimization.

Program and Project Management Support

  • Supports leadership and Business leads in tracking and coordinating strategic initiatives.
  • Achieves operational objectives by coordinating the intake of information and provides recommendations to improve monitoring action plans across Real Estate Organization
  • Promotes a collaborative culture by initiating and facilitating strategies to maintain governance around action plans in support of Real Estate's mission and goals.
  • Supports Operations team on tracking programs and projects that support multiple Real Estate workstreams from Due Diligence to Implementation handoff.
  • Facilitates communications to introduce and implement new projects and programs directed by Operations team impacting functional or cross functional MRE teams

Presentation and Executive Summary support:

  • Storytelling: Support Operations team and extended business leads as needed through supporting the preparation of presentations, making it engaging and memorable.
  • Design Skills: Use visuals effectively, including charts, graphs, and images, to enhance understanding and retention.
  • Time Management: Ability to coordinate deliverables while tracking multiple initiatives at once.
  • Technical Proficiency: Be comfortable using presentation software like PowerPoint, Smartsheet, or other preferred McKesson tools.
  • Adaptability: Be ready to adjust your presentation as needed based on audience reactions or technical issues.

Reporting and Initiative Management:

  • Supports teams in reporting needs that represent MRE enterprise data.
  • Communicates and presents information to stakeholders on frameworks in place to track data.
  • Supports team in carrying out organizational strategy around reporting, policy, and process.
  • Supports select teams on ad hoc basis with project-based reporting needs.

Process and Documentation Support:

  • Supports Process Manager in maintaining organization around process frameworks.
  • Assists with documentation needs for large projects.
  • Maintains documentation and initiative structure supporting operations and MRE organization.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Critical Skills

  • Corporate Real Estate experience - cross functional
  • Experience working part of a large complex organization.
  • Program and Project Management experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with all organizational levels
  • Critical thinking skills to find multiple viable solutions for a challenge.
  • Analytical skills to process and interpret a large amount of data.
  • Critical thinking to determine what data and information is useful for the task.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently or across teams.
  • Strong presentation skills

Preferred, Specialized Knowledge/Skills -

  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Project Management Certification
  • Knowledge of Corporate Real Estate Processes and Corporate Real Estate Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of bidding process and end to end vendor management.
  • Mathematical skills to process complex calculations.
  • Experience using statistical and database software.
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • Consulting and program management skills

Education/Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Salary: 79,900.00 - 106,500.00 - 133,100.00 USD Annual (Target, 120K)
