The Retail Marketing Lead is accountable for assisting the Retail Channel Business (Roofing, Insulation and Doors) in the execution of key marketing strategies, messaging and marketing sales tools that support growth of the business. This role will support the marketing leads for each retailer. This position is responsible to help drive demand and communicate a consistent brand message within each market for Owens Corning. They will partner within the Retail Channel team and the business (business marketing, digital, product management, and S&T teams) and will coordinate marketing initiatives with both internal and external constituents. The Marketing Lead will be an integral part of the organization in supporting the overall growth of the Retail Channel. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to see the big picture and develop marketing plans. They should also be curious and creative, always looking for innovative ways to enhance our marketing efforts. Reports to:Marketing Leader, The Home Depot (Retail Team) Span of Control: This is an individual contributor role. Requires cross-functional collaboration as well as frequent external, customer-facing interactions
Supports key Retail Channel Marketing Strategies, including support for all Retailers
- Supports Marketing Leads with project management on key initiatives supporting Roofing, Insulation and Doors including POP management, Retail Media execution, field sales support, systems management and other projects as needed.
- Collaborates with Retail Sales team, to develop marketing strategies and key initiatives that are consistent with supporting/developing brand equity while building awareness and driving demand generation.
- Supports development and execution of trade ads, social marketing content, videos, promotions, training, customer website updates and store manager walk content for all retailers, as needed.
- Understands the overall Retail marketing plan and helps execute key deliverables, retail initiatives, events and product launches.
- Develop and coordinate a consistent message and brand across all marketing tools including but not limited to customer websites, samples, literature, technical materials, guides, etc.
- Supports Marketing Managers and Product Innovation and Insight Leader in the development of key marketing, productive and brand initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of all retail product categories, the retail industry, customers, and our customers - customers including the Pro, contractors, DIY, Homeowners and other key decision makers
- Own MDMS and CMS systems from a marketing perspective to update customer websites with key marketing and product information and new marketing contents as needed.
- Manage the execution of marketing materials including literature, displays, videos, web updates, etc.
Coordinates Process Execution for Retail Marketing Team
- Support the management of Purchase Orders/Invoices/Budget process for Retail Strategic Marketing.
- Lead the maintenance of finished goods and print on demand literature and sample updates, monitor inventory levels, monthly reporting.
- Manage assets for Brand Center and PIM/DAM project.
- Own Marcom and stakeholder approval process.
Lead Select Strategic Initiatives
- Work to connect and collaborate with a cross-functional team within strategic marketing, sales, digital, product, S&T, etc. to understand the Retail Business and customers' needs and opportunities to win.
- Strives to strengthen and add value to the Retail Business through leading select strategic initiatives, establishing clear and measurable outcomes, and knowledge sharing.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business growth strategy and identifying areas of opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS& CABILITIES MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working within marketing, advertising, marketing communications or other relevant experience
- 3+ years of demonstrated communication skills with the ability to translate strategic marketing concepts and procedures to varying stakeholder groups.
- At least 2 years of experience leading projects of various sizes in a cross-functional, matrix environment
- Flexibility to travel up to 20% of time
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Product marketing experience: Retail Channel experience is highly preferred
- Building Materials industry experience preferred
- Successful experience working in a complex matrix environment
- Experience executing marketing campaigns, including positioning, messaging, segmentation, margin management, investments, and channel management
- Delivering customer inspired solutions by critically evaluating strategies against data and external perspectives; leverages analysis and reflection to make choices to win.
- Budget management experience.
- Proven ability to partner with internal and external business stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Building processes and programs that can be repeated, scaled, and automated.

- Proven ability to analyze business metrics and make recommendations to drive business results.
