Supervisor: Claims Support Operations - The Auto Club Group What you will do: (Primary Duties & Responsibilities) The Auto Club Group is seeking a prospective claims support operations supervisor who will supervise day-to-day activities of claim support staff responsible for providing processing and operational support to Claims Handling Units. Conduct quality audits and review of processed claims to ensure high levels of work product quality. Act as the subject matter expert for the claim dispatch process. In this position, you will have the opportunity to: Prepare reports, scorecards, and presentations to communicate information gathered, production statuses, goal obtainment and process improvement opportunities. Perform research to resolve problems. Present information to management for input and guidance and approval of next steps in the process. Provide feedback regarding trends resulting in errors or issues appearing in audits. Assist management in the development of training presentations to educate staff, provide feedback and tips to optimize processes and performance. Assist management by reviewing departmental processes and providing recommendations for improvements. May complete additional projects and special assignments. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise a team of Claims Support Operations staff. Participate in the process of selecting, hiring, training, development, counseling and disciplining assigned staff in accordance with corporate Human Resource policies and procedures. Work Environment This is a hybrid work arrangement (time spent in office and remote). Depending on the employee's role and leadership's assessment, some employees will come into an ACG facility on a weekly basis, a monthly basis, or on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities. Most employees will be required to come into the office, at a minimum, for important departmental meetings or teambuilding events. Candidates for this position should be within a commutable distance to the Tampa, FL AOB for reporting purposes. We're looking for candidates who: Preferred Qualifications: Prior management or leadership experience

Knowledge of internal ACG claims software/processing and procedures

Florida Adjusters License preferred

The ability to multi-task and complete a multitude of tasks consistently and efficiently

Consistent/Steady Work history within professional settings

Required Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent OR four years of equivalent work experience in processing, customer service or business administration Successful completion of General Claims Training Experience: Four years of experience in claim processing or claim handling to include: Interpreting the steps in a claim lifecycle Participating in projects or components of large-scale projects Serving as the subject matter expert in assigned claims discipline Understanding downstream change impact Presenting reports/data/findings to various management and internal partners Representing department in meetings Handling escalated customer complaints/issues Gathering data and preparing reports Maintaining accurate files and records Identification, investigation, and resolution of complex problems Advance knowledge of the entire claims process to include systems, functions, policies/procedures and regulatory compliance Skills and Ability to: Audit work processes and report on results Document procedures and prepare job aids Lead a medium to large project Foster a team building environment Demonstrate an understanding of claims data entry and payment processing Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure work is completed Present information in a clear and concise manner Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills Supervisory ability to include: Leading and motivating a staff Coaching, developing, and disciplining assigned staff Problem solving and conflict resolution How you will benefit: Claims Specialist will earn a competitive salary of $54,600 to $72,000 annually with annual bonus potential based on performance.
