As an IT Intern in Kansas City, MOyou will assist our Garney employees with technology issues, configuring and deploying technology equipment, and adapt to different problems developing solutions to improve the experience employees have with their technology. To thrive in this position you must be motivated to learn about IT procedures, interact well with people, and have the ability to provide detail on issues and solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.



  • Support the IT team in network maintenance and security.



  • Help with software installations, updates, and configurations.



  • Provide technical support to employees and clients.



  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and cloud solutions.



  • Document processes and create user manuals.



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.



  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux) and networking concepts.



  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software problems.



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.



  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.



  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
