Technical Consultant Associate

Primarily responsible delivery of technology solutions for clients. Defines client needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Viewed by customers as a consultant. Performance is typically evaluated based on the capture of professional services' engagement and/or utilization, (i.e., billable hours).

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Consultant Associate to join our team in Raleigh. You will work closely with a seasoned Itron team learning our technology, process, and methods. Technical Consultants provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary support of complex equipment and systems. The technical consultant verifies and approves operational quality of the system and serves as company liaison with the customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Supports onsite and in-house technical solutions for projects

• Implement Itron solutions for our customers (installation, configuration, testing, training, customization)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Thrive in both collaborative and autonomous environments

• Excel at customer experience engagement and one-on-one interaction

• Accomplishes operational and/or functional objectives that enable successful execution of department goals; achieves KPIs and action plans

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

Travel: 0-20%

Location: This is a hybrid position based out of Raleigh, NC and is expected to be on-site up to 20% of the time, depending on the month and need.
