A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry.

IT Helpdesk Technician - CONTRACTOR

Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical assistance and support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Perform Tier 1 support for server, printer, and network maintenance.
  • Utilize available information resources to research and address user inquiries.
  • Adhere to standard help desk procedures and protocols.
  • Redirect and escalate issues to the appropriate resources, as necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison between users, subsidiaries, and system administrators.
  • Track and route problems and requests, documenting resolutions accurately.
  • Inform management of recurring technical issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest system information, changes, and updates.
  • Update user manuals and procedural documentation to reflect the latest versions.
  • Follow up with employees to ensure their issues have been resolved.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in IT Support field
  • Working knowledge of file server (Windows, Linux), FTP server
  • Basic level on network structure and diagram
  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices


Preferred (not required):



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual (English) (Korean)
