POSITION DESCRIPTION: The incumbent is responsible for directing and overseeing employees in Cargo Ground operations in KOA to ensure maintenance of fast and efficient service standards in a safe work environment. 2. Support operational service standards and company values. 3. Monitor and communicate daily operational requirements and changes. 4. Communicate with staff on a regular basis to keep them up-to-date and knowledgeable of new products 5. Monitor productivity and quality of service. 6. Identify and resolve operational and quality problems. 7. Coach and counsel staff. 8. Consistently deliver superior service to internal and external customers. 9. Anticipate identify and resolve service and operational problems with a results-oriented approach to performance. 10. Counsel and communicate with employee groups and the management team to maintain cooperative working relationships. 11. Plan, organize, manage and enhance cargo customer service function. Responsible for the effective and timely management and deployment of staff in support of customer. 12. Strong interface with ground handler, flight operations and airport administration. 13. Communicate policies, procedures and changes to providers of contracted services. 14. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Cargo.
