Financial Education is a cornerstone of our financial inclusion strategic pillar. The Financial Education team delivers a product portfolio designed for impact and client needs. The Analyst, Financial Education PMO will drive operational excellence for the Financial Education team. The Analyst will play a critical role in the coordination and completion of strategic initiatives, cross-functional projects, and backend team operations. The Analyst will work closely with the Head of Financial Education, regional Social Impact teams and operational stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within scope and on time.

The PMO Manager must have excellent organization and communication skills. The role demands meticulous oversight of end-to-end processes, fostering an environment of clarity, speed, scale, and collaboration. This role will ensure the Financial Education team operates efficiently and with excellence through project management of our various workstreams and streamlining how other teams interface with our team. Additionally, the candidate must be able to proactively seek creative solutions and move quickly to implementation, often in the face of ambiguity. This role requires high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a strategic, creative problem solver who can influence without direct authority, lead end-to-end, proactively develop operational systems to address bottlenecks and bend seamlessly between strategic and tactical work. The ideal candidate will be disciplined and truly enjoy operations and project management - possessing a unique mix of operational excellence, strategic thinking, and natural curiosity.

This role reports to the Head of Financial Education.

Essential Functions:

  • Support team project management and drive accountability with Head of Financial Education including team calendar, project deadlines, and key activities to ensure steady progress to achieve quarterly objectives

  • Build infrastructure and processes to drive efficient team operations and support of regional strategies

  • Co-develop and maintain a Financial Education hub for internal stakeholders

  • Support the Financial Education content catalogue and roadmap for content creation and updates including managing our network of content developers

  • Drive strategic connectivity between the Financial Education team and other functions through management of an engagement calendar, coordinating monthly All Staff meetings, and delivering our team newsletter

  • Design and coordinate the implementation of regular team professional development, ensuring the team actively cultivates its Financial Education subject matter expertise and stays abreast of industry trends

  • Support client and partnership sales operations by triaging inbound requests and technical issues, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution

  • Develop new processes as needed to ensure the Financial Education team achieves and delivers on priorities

  • Support special projects from inception, including planning to execution with clear communication, outcomes, and responsibilities

  • Manage backend operations including budget tracking, vendor processes, and quarterly reporting

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Proven track record in leading end to end project management

* Experience and/or subject matter expertise in Financial Education

* Bilingual in Spanish, French or Arabic, a plus

* Demonstrated success in business operations, with keen eye for process improvement and operational efficiency

* Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum Master positions preferred

* Thrive in a fast-paced environment where juggling priorities is your norm but have an eye for detail which keeps your delivery accurate.

* Adept in PowerPoint, Excel and project management tools to drive team accountability and deliverable tracking (e.g., Planner, Notion, Trello, etc.)

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual & analytical rigor

* Self-starter, results oriented individual with the ability to roll up their sleeves and handle numerous projects concurrently

* A team player and collaborator, able to work well with a diverse group of individuals in a matrixed global environment, ranging from junior to executive level

* Ability to operate with flexibility and often in the gray

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 89,900 to 149,550 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
