Position Title:Strategic Vendor Manager

Business Unit:Operations

Reports to:Director of Operational Risk and Support Services

Position Overview:

The Strategic Vendor Manager will serve as the primary liaison between FNB and a key strategic technology vendor. This role requires a unique blend of banking, legal, and technology expertise to effectively manage the vendor relationship, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic goals. The Strategic Vendor Manager will be responsible for consolidating all known issues, projects, and initiatives, balancing internal resources, and preparing comprehensive communications and status updates for internal Executive Management and Vendor executives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Vendor Relationship Management:
Act as the single point of contact between the bank and the strategic vendor.

Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendor representatives.

Ensure vendor compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).

Issue and Project Management:
Consolidate and track all known issues, projects, and initiatives involving the vendor.

Coordinate with internal teams to balance resources and prioritize tasks.

Facilitate resolution of issues and ensure timely completion of projects.

Communication and Reporting:
Prepare and deliver written communications and status updates for internal Executive Management and Vendor executives.
Provide regular updates on vendor performance, project status, and issue resolution.
Develop and present reports and dashboards to senior management.

Strategic Planning and Execution:
Align vendor activities with the bank's strategic objectives.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of vendor management strategies.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Advanced degree MBA or JDhighly preferred
