Ryerson is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis internship to become a vital part of our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with the FP&A team, leveraging cutting-edge tools like TM1, Cognos, PowerBI, and SAP to deliver insightful financial analysis and quantitative insights. Your contributions will empower both regional and corporate management, driving strategic decisions and fostering growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with financial, accounting, operational, sales, and inventory data and team members to help improve management understanding of the business and foster better decision making
  • Transform analysis and reporting to present actionable insights and recommendations
  • Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to existing processes and internal controls
  • Participate in cross-region projects designed to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of reporting, analytics, and business performance
  • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

  • Must be working towards Bachelor's Degree ininformation systems, mathematics, finance, economics, or accounting at an accredited college or university
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and technological skills including familiarity with Excel
  • Possess excellent communication abilities and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Open to new challenges and business environments
