Job Summary

This position serves as the primary point of contact for communication, evaluation, and processing of new first-year and transfer athletes each term. This position manages the operational aspects of strategic admission pathway program(s), reviews applications, and provides processing support to meet new student enrollment goals. This position creates resources and facilitates information sessions to provide guidance on admission and enrollment requirements.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Establish goals, objectives, and evaluation criteria for programs; evaluate program effectiveness on an ongoing basis

Job Duty 2 -
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of programs, including planning scheduling, and monitoring activities; Assist with developing and formalizing program scope; assign resources and set deadlines

Job Duty 3 -
Recommend, update, and support programmatic policies and procedures

Job Duty 4 -
Develop and maintain effective relationships with program sponsors, stakeholders, teams, and others to assess needs and existing program methodology

Job Duty 5 -
Research and identify funding and resources to support programs; Track timelines and budgets, report status, and resolve or escalates issues as necessary

Job Duty 6 -
May assist with developing and distributing publications, resources, and program or marketing materials

Job Duty 7 -
Participate in strategic and operational planning for programs

Job Duty 8 -
Perform other job-related duties assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree

Other Required Qualifications
Progressive admission experience within Higher Education (within large public and/or private institutions)

Required Experience
At least five year of admission experience within Higher Education.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience with higher education systems (Banner and Slate)
Excellent verbal and written skills, ideally with communicating admission guidelines, policy, and procedure to students, families, and other internal and external constituents. Have a valid Drivers License and the ability to drive various distances. Weekend and evening hours and travel required when necessary.
Ability to lift 25 pounds of recruitment materials. Understanding of strategic enrollment management within higher education along with institutional, state, and national guidelines, policy, and procedures.

Bachelors Degree required

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires advanced specialized knowledge of and skills in applying Institute admission standards and enrollment processing, often on behalf of highly sought after candidates. Skills in communications, presentation and counseling regarding college admissions is also required as is relationship building and customer service.
