Take a look at this opportunity with our Accounting team, which is seeking a passionate individual, to fill the role of our Payroll Specialist. This role is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing payroll and answering payroll-related inquiries. A strong understanding of and compliance with wage and hour laws is necessary in this role.

How you will contribute

This role will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our organization and develop your professional skills by...



  • Payroll processing: 4 to 6 years of processing US and international cycle payroll, bonus, special, and admin pay in the payroll system.
  • Data entry: Inputting employee time and attendance data into the payroll systems for US and International. Conduct shift differential pay calculation and international payroll calculation.
  • Record keeping: Maintaining accurate payroll records, including employee earnings, deductions, and tax information.
  • Payroll Allocation: Perform payroll allocation to the assigned cost center on a monthly basis.
  • Employee inquiries: Answering employee questions related to payroll, pay stubs, and deductions.
  • Auditing and reconciliation: Reviewing payroll data for accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Generating payroll reports for management and accounting purposes. Assist with ad hoc requests and projects.
  • Compliance management: Staying updated on federal and state tax regulations and ensuring payroll processes adhere to legal requirements.



What you bring to the role



  • Proficiency in payroll software: Expertise in using payroll systems to process payroll efficiently. (Axiom, TriNet, Vistra)
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to identify errors in payroll data and troubleshoot issues.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in all payroll calculations and data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills: Effectively communicating payroll matters with employees, HR, and other departments.
  • Organizational skills: Managing multiple payroll cycles and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of tax laws: Understanding federal and state tax regulations related to payroll.
  • Confidentiality: Maintaining the privacy of sensitive employee payroll information.

Location: Hybrid - must be able to work in the Duarte when needed

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific Time

Travel: Minimal

FLSA: Non-Exempt
