Summary:
Responsible for performing diagnostic tests to monitor the electrical activity of a patient's heart. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Prepare patients for the ECG test by explaining the procedure and answering any questions they may have. -Attach electrodes to the patient's chest and limbs to monitor their heart activity during the test. -Operate ECG equipment and monitoring the patient's heart activity during the test. -Record and analyze the results of the test for the physician or cardiologist. -Identify and correct any issues that may arise during the ECG test. -Clean and maintain ECG equipment and ensuring that it is in proper working condition. -Maintain accurate and detailed records of each patient's ECG test results.
