Position Overview
Qualifications
Manufacturing Technicians must be a team oriented individual, their primary responsibilities include operation of machinery, hoist and fork/clamp trucks. We are currently hiring for our (3rd) shift team. Third shift hours are from 10:45PM - 7:00AM (S-TH) with overtime scheduled as needed. The Winchester Division manufacturers pressure sensitive label stock and employs 90 dedicated professionals. Some of the key markets we serve are the food, retail and beverage industries. We offer a stable work environment and strive to have a family focused culture. We operate on a non-rotating 8 hour shift, with overtime up to 12 hours as needed, Our operation runs 24 hours from Sunday through Friday evening with occasional Saturday work. We look to promote from within first. Responsibilities Manufacturing Technicians will be trained to do various positions throughout our facility with career paths including machine operation, material handling, shipping, quality and maintenance. Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience is not a requirement. You must be able to correctly interpret job orders, have good math skills and the ability to read a tape measurer. Physical demands are part of a technicians normal daily routine and include but are not limited to lifting & pushing up to 50 lbs., bending, walking, climbing, etc. in a non-climate controlled environment. Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical and must complete a background screening. You must be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
