City/State Williamsburg, VA Overview Work Shift First (Days) (United States of America) This is a full-time position with day shift hours. This is a remote position (candidates must reside in Virginia). Provides a direct link between patients, primary care providers, specialty providers, and insurance companies. Coordinates referral process from primary care providers as well as pre-authorization approvals for drugs and other services as ordered by provider. Medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payers. One year of experience with insurance verification/referral processing preferred. Knowledge of EPIC preferred. Proficient in use of computers and excellent organizational skills.
