Job Summary The Student Services Director oversees Admissions, Records, and Registration (AR&R), Welcome Desks, International Education and the CGCC Call Center (inbound/outbound) at both the Pecos and Williams campuses. This role ensures a seamless, wraparound service experience and manages key functions, including records retention, transfer credit evaluation, graduation verification, Student Information System security, and athletic eligibility as the College Registrar. As part of the Enrollment Services Leadership team, this position develops and maintains training and expectations for staff while fostering collaboration with administrators, faculty, students, high schools, vendors, businesses, and community organizations. The director plays a critical role in advancing Chandler-Gilbert Community College's Strategic Enrollment Management Plan and college mission. Essential Functions 30% - Directs, plans, and develops strategy, goals, and objectives as related to strategic enrollment management; oversees the implementation of policy for federal, state and local regulations to ensure compliance; implements and reviews policies and operating structure of all areas of responsibility. 20% - Creates functional strategy and outcome-based objectives for all departments. Incorporates, creates, and contributes to the strategic enrollment management plan and department goals surrounding student enrollment, persistence, and completion. 15% - Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of employees in assigned area of oversight 10% - Budget planning and development to ensure public stewardship of funds 10% - Provides input on planning and strategy while offering technical support, operational guidance, and counsel to leadership 10% - Collaborates with District offices, colleges, divisions, and community organizations to provide service and execution of initiatives; participate in district and campus committees 5% - Processes state enrollment reports; state and MCCCD audit inquiries; and other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business administration, public administration or related field and four (4) full-time equivalent years of related experience that includes two (2) years of management and supervisory experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
