Program Manager, Experiential Events

REMOTE Our client helps professionals and companies around the globe, with their recruiting and job search efforts using their robust platform and strategic service offerings. Throughout the year, they network, sponsor, and participate in a variety of events, and have built a team to support these efforts. Today they are seeking a Program Manager to provide both tactical and strategic support for key elements of high-profile events with 500+ attendees and 1M budget spend, along with providing additional attention to internal programs. Responsibilities
- Assist with project management and logistics for our client's global hybrid marquee client event, including session and speaker coordination, internal attendee management, housing arrangements, internal communications, food & beverage planning, staff training, and delivering unique client experiences.
- Assist with planning and production of client's internal programming initiatives, working with senior leaders to present content to teams around the world.
- Create and execute project processes and documentation, ensuring alignment with the overall event planning timeline. Responsibilities include streamlining cross-functional partnerships, reporting, post-event follow-up, budget management, invoice tracking, meeting management, and event documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, external interested parties, and on-site staff to ensure seamless event execution while gathering updates, maintaining aligned planning documents, and effectively communicating with leadership.
- Run cross-functional meetings with partners across the business, serving as a subject matter expert on the responsible event program workstream.
- Enforce event sustainability practices, track progress, and measure environmental and social impact to ensure responsible event execution.
- Analyze and report event results, performance metrics, and trends to identify challenges and opportunities and recommend programming enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to drive scale and efficiencies throughout the events program by researching industry best practices and audience behaviors and providing insights on branded experiences, activations, and marketing strategies to enhance attendee engagement.
Skills/Competencies
- 5+ years experience assisting cross-functional experiential marketing programs at a global scale.
- Experience working with senior leaders at a company or client.
- Experience managing budgets of $1M+
- Experience supporting larger, professional events with 500+ attendees
- Proven ability to develop innovative, brand-focused activations while aligning large cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver impactful experiences.
- Solid skills in budget management, project scaling, and data-driven decision-making, with keen analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and partner with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and business alignment.
- Proven communication skills and adaptability to ambiguity, evolving tools, and a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Adjustable to ambiguity, new tools, processes, and a fast-changing matrixed business environment.
- Highly proficient in Google Workspace and Apple applications, with a proven ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies. Additionally, bring expertise in AI tools and digital event management platforms, enhancing productivity and innovations.
